The price should be as clear as the product

Prices are shown before tax; applicable tax appears at checkout before you pay. There is no prepaid balance to manage and nothing metered: you pay for the launch, and for anything else only when you choose it.

Is Website Care required?

No. Care is optional and you can add it or drop it at any time. The one-time website purchase already covers the production source, the launch handoff and hosting, so a site stays live whether Care is on or off. Care only buys ongoing work after launch, and cancelling it never takes your site down.

What happens when the free preview ends?

A free preview stays online for 7 days, long enough to look it over, share it and decide. If you launch, the same site becomes permanent at the same address. If you do nothing, it quietly goes offline and you owe nothing.
